stories of change
Jackson found a second chance
Jackson experienced homelessness for years. He was a cocaine and alcohol addict off and on for over 20 years. Despite his struggles and indecision, Jackson never thought he would enroll in any of Voaks’ programs. For years, Jackson would come through our doors for a rare dinner and clothing. It was only when he started seeing people he knew from the streets get the help that they needed, that he was inspired to make a change in his own life.
“I wasn’t happy doing drugs and drinking. I was always miserable. That’s when I decided to come to Voaks and enter the Fresh Start program.”
We've Joined Forces
We're serving more. Because of you.
To effectively combat the epidemic of homelessness and meet immediate neighboring needs, Voaks Homes is joining forces with missions, local communities, licensed care facilities, and network of providers. Re-imagining the fight against poverty and homelessness.
